Posted August 29, 2018

Issue: 7-Eleven’s application to build a gas station at the corner of Osborne and Lexicon denied. Thanks to the community’s active voices, that resounded loud and clear that a gas station would have a detrimental effect on the community and especially to the residents in close proximity to the proposed gas station. Thanks to CD7’s response and letter in opposition to the gas station. This proves that the community members’ collective active voices coupled with the support from CD7 can get things done.
